As most of you know, I have been documenting the past year of my life in ONE picture EVERY SINGLE DAY. I got the idea from a Christmas gift last year that Sarah gave me. It was a journal of one man’s life for a year. I accepted the challenge the book presented and launched myself into attempting to capture EVERY SINGLE DAY in one image.
Through weeks of missing images (I know, I know, tsk. tsk.), many concerts, late nights, pictures of random food items, and countless amount of time organizing the images into the correct days, I am proud (ecstatic, more like) to say that the year of 2011 is over and my Photo Journal is complete.
One image for every day. 365 images. 365 days of high school, summer, the beginning of college, incredible worship experiences, falling in love, learning more about Christ, and just living. I’ve learned so much through this. Not just about photography (I’ll address a few of those things later this month for the Curious Georges in the room), but also about myself.
You can view the WHOLE thing (it might take a while, if you stay faithful and go through every image. I believe in you!) on the D’Attoma Studios Facebook page in two different albums. Here are a few images that I just LOVE from the last month of the Photo Journal. Happy New Years !
Being able to give this snare drum to James on his birthday is a moment I will never forget. His face at that second will forever be etched into my mind. Such happiness.
Fall was leaving, getting ready for winter on this day. I just LOVE this image for some reason.
I LOVE these earrings. Belk has great sales, for you earring lovers out there.
Studying the Word with James on a really hard night to find encouragement. Every time I see this image, I smile. His leadership means so much.
Another earring image; I used to never wear them! What was I thinking ?!?!
Whoa, he is such a cutie !
One of the best days of 2011, by far.
I love and look up to both of these beautiful women so much.
Christmas gift from my best friend! I love this mug. It’s very clever.
Why, yes. That is a Lion Fish. We became great friends during my trip to the Georgia Aquarium with my mom. It was such a great day !
HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE HER ?!?!?!?! I love her. That’s all you need to know. Sabriel is BEST cat ever. Seriously. BE jealous.
I cannot wait to see what God has in store for 2012 !
