Anna + Spencer: A Downtown Lexington Wedding PART I

Time dragged on. The clock seemed to tick louder as the seconds passed slower. There was a quiet busyness as everyone hustled around the church getting ready. Flowers were on the pews in the sanctuary…bouquets and boutonnieres arrived. CHECK. Hair done. CHECK. The soloist was rehearsing, and his voice floated through the halls. CHECK. Everyone in the bridal party was dressed for the day. CHECK. Anticipation was rising with each excruciatingly slow second that passed.

After pictures were taken, the bride and bridesmaids gathered in a circle to pray. Her dad waited as the bottom of the stairs to see her for the first time and kiss her cheek…while mom and bride fought back tears. As everyone was seated the lights dimmed to a warm glow and the groom confidently walked to the alter and stood in middle of the isle. He wanted the best and first look at his gorgeous bride. As the doors opened, the congregation stood to their feet, and an angel floated towards him with her arm around her dad, he took a deep breath and looked straight into her eyes. Finally, this was it…

Anna and Spencers love was pulsating through the room. Everyone could see that their hearts were too full of joy to even begin to contain it…. and they didn’t want to. It spilled over on their friends and family who came to support their union, and their start to a new life. A life of ministry and serving, where their brimming hearts will pour over everyone they meet… as ONE.

Congratulations to you both… It was an honor, a joy, a privilege to watch your day unfold and be inspired by your adoration for each other. Let Christ be your foundation and there’s no limit to the influence you will have as a couple! Praying for all that lies ahead!

Much love,

Sarah
