Garden

“In simple humility let our Gardener, God, landscape you with the Word, making a salvation-garden of your life”

James 1:21

So, I planted a garden today. Went to Lowes…put 4 pieces of 8 ft lumber in my tiny red Honda civic…add to that 8 bags of top soil and about 30 plants and I almost didn’t fit to drive home. Thankfully, Lowes is literally right in front of our neighborhood, so it wasn’t too far to squeeze into my very small driving space. It was raining most of the afternoon, but I decided to make my garden anyways. It is happily planted on the side of house and I’m praying it will grow – (I am not the most faithful with watering…) My beloved husband gets home from golfing and asks “When will we be able to eat the food you planted?”  “August,” I said. With a furrowed brow he says, “Oh. I was hoping for tomorrow.

To miracle grow: “Please do your best job so I can give veggies to my sweet husband as soon as possible.

Thank you.  {Sarah}
