Blurb for the Good

I was creating a wedding album last night and stumbled across this part of the site. I love to use Blurb books for clients who want large weddings albums but don’t want to pay $500.00 to add a million pages to an already costly process. They create beautiful books with a wonderful variety of options for the designer. I highly recommended them BEFORE I even knew about the charitable portion of their business. Check it out for yourself!

Make a book. Make a difference.

“Whatever you do to make the world a better place, a book can spread your message and support your cause. Joining Blurb for Good enables you to set the price for your book and keep 100% of the profit for your cause.”

I was looking through their examples of “Blurb for the Good” books and this one caught my eye:

“Julie Van Rosendaal, of Canada’s Dinner with Julie, rallied her pals, from famous chefs to teen food bloggers, and created a cookbook for Haiti. More than 1,800 books were sold and the Canadian Red Cross matched sales of the book. The result was a mega-donation of more than $45,000 to relief efforts in Haiti.”

If you’re interesting on creating a book for a local ministry or relief effort, I’d love to work together…
Let’s brainstorm together and Blurb for the Good.
